| Question was:
What do you do for fun that really refuels you?
To recharge
myself, I do something artistic that I can look at or display;
something that I can stand back and say, "Hey, I'm proud of that."
--Lucie
My real refuel
is being around other moms that "get it". Usually after a play
date I am refueled. Even if we do not get to finish our sentences
while we are talking, I still feel validated and not alone after
getting together with other moms. --Michelle
I absolutely
love going horseback riding. It relaxes me, I get to spend time
in nature, and it's something I've done since childhood with my
father, so it always brings back pleasant memories of our times
together. --Giovanni
Getting in
a good work out at the health club while the kids play in the
child center. --Natalee
I like to watch
preaching videos, read books on doctrinal type subjects - such
as faith prayer and even about past revivals, listen to preaching,
and listening to good worship music. These are things I do to
refuel my spirit. --Christy
I love to go
for a spin on my bicycle-built-for-two with one of my sons (they
take turns). There is time to see the sights and we're in close
proximity to talk about all kinds of things. People can't help
but smile as we go by. I also like to take a bowl of big colorful
gum balls to meetings. People enjoy the pretty colors and it's
just fun to chew bubble gum with friends. These things are easy
ways to make others smile and refuel. --Stacy |
